ATP
ATP stands for Adenosine Tri Phosphate.
ATP is the "universal currency" of energy exchange inside cells.
In plants, ADP is converted into ATP during Photosynthesis.
In animals,
ADP is converted into ATP during Respiration or Oxidative Phosphorylation.
ATP is then used by many biochemical processes insides the cell, including
muscle movement, protein synthesis, cell division, and nerve signal transmission.

as a sufferer of Diabetes, Deafness and Tinnitus caused by the A3243G mtDNA defect,
I do have a very keen interest in the subject.
