Post Mitotic Tissues
Post
Mitotic tissues are tissues which have stopped dividing after adulthood has been
reached.
These tissue types are capable of only limited repair and regeneration.
Examples of post mitotic tissues are the brain (and spinal column), and muscles (such as skeletal
muscles and the heart).

I do have a very keen interest in the subject.
