  RNA

RNA (RiboNucleic Acid), are linear single-stranded polymers, composed of ribose nucleotides that are synthesized by transcription of DNA or by the copying of RNA.
Three types of RNA -

  • mRNA
  • rRNA
  • tRNA
each play different roles in protein synthesis.
