Submit a Personal Journey

If you or your child has a diagnosed or suspected mitochondrial disorder, (especially, but not limited to, the A3243G mtDNA point mutation), and you would like to be included on the personal journeys section of the A3243G website, please email the following information me.

  • Name, (i.e. "Fred Bloggs" or "The Bloggs Family").
  • Information that you would like share about the individual(s) including names, birthdates, symptoms, diagnosis, special interests, etc...  Please feel free to share information about family members who are not affected by mitochondrial disease as well, (especially on your mother's side).  You may want to take a look at some of the pages already here to get an idea for your page.
  • If you want to include contact information, that is up to you.
  • Unfortunately, due to editorial constraints, only Journeys in English will be accepted.
  • A scanned picture, (we will resize/crop the picture as necessary), attached to the email message, or the exact URL location of the picture if it is already available on the internet.  You may send up to 2 pictures for inclusion on your page, (unless the page is for an entire family, then additional pictures may be used).
  • If you do not have a scanned picture but have a photograph you would like us to use, please contact Andy Collinson for mailing instructions.
